Cadaver

The purpose of cadaver certification is to ensure a well trained canine teams ability to effectively search for, accurately locate, and indicate various scent sources of human remains, both above and under ground.

Due to the demands of dogs being called upon to locate victims of crimes and accidents, it is highly recommended that the operational wilderness dog be trained specifically for the task of locating human remains.
